Emotional Landscapes

My grandma died on Tuesday. It wasn't a surprise, it's been coming for a long time, but that doesn't necessarily make it easier for my mom. I'm mostly sad for her; I didn't really know my grandma. But I just don't know how to handle myself when my mom is sobbing on my shoulder because she "[doesn't] have a mommy anymore."
